My friendly message to PM Office

(7.20pm - Just got home from meeting 2 PMO officials, including a deputy minister. Interesting. Will continue tomorrow...)

I don't like what I just found out a few days ago. It puts me in a great dilemma. Should I write about it or should I not...

It may cause PM Najib and his Cabinet a great deal of embarrassment. The good relations between pro-government bloggers and news portal operators with the ruling party too may turn sour. The SB may also pick me up anytime.

But I don't have any other channel. My calls and text messages to a few PM's officials went unanswered. The only person who answered is Fatmi Salleh. I wanted to see him but he is too busy. Also couldn't get through Tengku Sharifuddin and Sahalan.

Take this as a friendly message to YAB PM and his Cabinet. I hope any official at the PM Office who reads this posting will alert him. Nope, I don't expect Mr PM to see me but I do need some answers pertaining to a Cabinet briefing on Wednesday, February 22 about 'social media network'.

A UK-grad by the name of Amhari (hope I got it right) gave the briefing which in the end saw a minister left the meeting red face. He was made a perfect scapegoat. The report was also jointly-prepared by a Media Prima big gun said to be vying for an Info Minister position or its secretary-general, at least.

I hope someone from the PMO or the Cabinet calls a meeting with key pro-government bloggers and news portals ASAP. I am a nobody, I know that but I believe people like Datuk 'Rocky', Syed Akbar, Zakhir, Sallehudin and others would like to know about it.

I am waiting for the calls.

To Datuk Seri Najib - four years after we had the last national poll, your people are still not prepared, not well-informed and are still fooling around. I want BN to win. Don't you? Please address this. Thank you, sir!

PS - Did someone say "I cannot sack my press secretary just like that!"?

aku pun ada call dia. dia janji nak jumpa tapi asyik tangguh tiga empat kali. last2 aku naik fed up.

orang atasan ni memang sombong bodoh. dia ingat orang bawahan macam kita ni semuanya dungu dan tak boleh beri buak fikiran yang baik.

tapi begitulah hakikatnya. macam umno - takut terima golongan cerdik pandai sebagai ahli, takut lawan tokeh!

salam tuan,

i heard about it too from someone at JPM.

they disregard blogs and portals contribution to BN election campaign.

datuk najib must correct this. if its true, then no point for bloggers to go on. its a waste to time and effort!

Apa dia cerita ni beb, gua tak faham, what did 'Amhari' say in the briefing?

there is nothing alarming about your posting other than the fact that someone may or may not have leaked to you information about a closed door briefing to the minister

cerita lah skit

i sense something was not right when rais yatim removed his press secretary last week and moved him to another section at the ministry. looks like a cold storage for him

Now PMO practices cabinet within cabinet. Political Secretaries and Special Officers chair meetings in various areas and platforms although Ministers, MT members or Government Senior Officers are present at the same meeting. Next time the Political Secretaries and the Special Officers should contest for Parliamentary seats and UMNO posts. Its not Najib's fault but his officers especially his head of the office. Are we seeing Level 4 and Pak Lah's kind of administration again?

I have not hope for anything from people like Rais Yatim and Ahmad Maslan. Najib must be having some bad days when he appointed them to their respective posts. Never mind. Whatever I do in support of BN is due to my personal belief that we do not have a better alternative. I'm not expecting anything. However, it's nice to be appreciated. If not appreciated...see lah how....

jai,

sounds very serious. is it about some pro-bn or pro-umno blogs?

or has it anything to do with such blogs not being recognised by the govt?

and who is that media prime guy?

jai,

What's with Rais? He is doing more harm than good. In the first place, Najib should get rid of him.
He is a liability to Najib. Let's say good-bye to Rais in the coming GE.
I feel sad for Najib who is riding high now.
The BN-friendly bloggers would have boost him in the coming GE.
How can BN fight the Anwarista bloggers if they cut you, Rocky and Big Dog out?

just a show to tell us that you and other pro-umno bloggers are not writting for money.

bro jai,

'sack my press secretary'?

who is the minister and the press-sec?

duno why some ministers are such... also the press sec!

is it true rais already sacked his press sec?

confirmed!

rais sacks his press sec last week.

heheheh... he was a lousy press sec actually!

Bro, you are right. A lot of hanky panky things have been bulldozed without PM's approval. Either that or PM is a damn liar.
Arghhhh, once a politician will always remain a politician.

I don't know about you guys but I was quite influential in my kampung and mukim in Kedah the last time..PRU11, I think.I was too busy to balik kampung for PRU12. But just this: the kampung folks will vote Pas if I tell them so, they will vote BN if I tell them so and they will not come out to vote if I tell them so. They always told me: You are the reporter, so you must know who we should vote for.

Bujai, Rais is actually my next-door neighbour in Ampang. My tiny bungalow shares a wall with his palatial Minangkabau place. One day he hired a contractor to clear his compound to build another building and the Chinaman had the cheek to bulldoze a tree right into my compound, breaking the pagar my landlord had put up. When I went to see Rais, his aide said Datuk was having tea..what's up. Rais didn't even come out or invite me in for tea. He was Law Minister then. I had hoped for some compensation but not a sen was offered. Later I was told that Rais is such a kedekut fella. Never held an open house for the common folks at the Minangkabau place or invited the neighbours for his numerous kenduri or tahlil. Nobody would miss him if he were to be dropped for the coming PRU13. Incidentally, a few doors away lies the house of PKR Wanita head Zuraidah Kamaruddin. She's also one sombong lady.

Bro,
Frankly speaking, I don't know what some of the UMNO leaders are doing in preparing for the up-coming general elections.

I was able to see Tun Dr M personally after making an appointment to see him. We discussed with him over two hours pertaining to party matters and the elections.

Well Rais doesn't seem to be interested to see me. I called his POL Sec a few times last year and he didntt seem to be interested to listen to us(?) Come on, BN is in deep trouble and this is not the time to be arrogant.

Somebody in his office said something that stunned me.
"When did you call to make the appointment, sir?"
Me : "Some three months ago".
"Oh, you should consider youself lucky. Some people had waited to see him more than 6 months."

RAIS USED TO BE SOMEBODY I ADMIRE BUT NOT AFTER THE CONVERSATION I HAD WITH HIS PEOPLE. MOVE OVER, JELEBU MAN!

kesian kau jai. kesian lagi PM bro. gua tak paham cerita lu tapi boleh le agak sikit-sikit sebab gua faham rais..

although pmo has improved a lot since pak lah's level 4 boy's heydays (making tonnes of money whilst he slept..), service from these orang 'atasan' has much to hope for.. the only way to catch them, busy as they are, is to ambush them at the golf course.

i had a good experience dealing with dato latt shariman though. i believe he's sarawakian. polite, attentive, honest, not your everyday highranking PM officer types. impressed me with his fluent thai oso. i think he's incharge of parliament but you can try ask for his help.. goodluck

BN MUST WIN!!
