I am proud to be a Malaysian. I can enjoy its well-diverse culture and heritage. We have the rights to our religions, schools, languages and believe. I swear, never did it cross my mind to be a Singaporean (or any other nations) although I enjoyed visiting relatives and friends during my school days.
Yesterday was Thaipusam in Malaysia. As usual, Batu Caves, Penang and other Hindu worship places throughout the country held similar ceremony and procession. Tourists flock it every year for its colorful and unusual event.
Even Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak was the guest of honor in Batu Caves to symbolise how Malaysians from all walks of life have recognised Thaipusam as a national event and celebration.

To our Malaysian Hindus, appreciate what we have. We may encounter some minor problems from time to time but everything can be resolved. There is no need to vent our anger by asking the Indian Government to severe all trade ties with Malaysia or things like that...
