A legal rampage!

We are seeing a legal rampage here.

Yesterday some politicians were produced in courts for allegedly involved in graft and other wrongdoings.

And today (read h e r e), the Public Accounts Committee asks Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission and police to investigate former Transport Minister Datuk Seri Chan Kong Choy and former Port Klang Authority general manager Datuk Paduka O.C.Phang for criminal breach of trust over three letters of support and undertaking which were not authorised by the Finance Ministry for the Port Klang Free Zone project.

Chan did not contest in the last general election, citing health reasons... or was it something else?

Let's see if more MPs, ministers and other high-ranking officials go to the court.

Its really a crackdown. However, do you believe that only few are involved in similar wrongdoings?

Probe jangan tak probe, beb. CKC ke OCP ke, semua kena probe. In fact, I don't think MACC needs to wait for PAC to ask it to investigate these people and others re PKFZ.

the port klang free zone hides too many things.

the public should know the truth as it involves a lot of money. the taxpayers must be informed of any wrongdoings pertaining to the project.

this is not a small matter. anybody can be involved. even the cabinet is not spared as it approved it.

i share rockybru's view that the macc should proceed with its investigation and not wait for official directive.
