Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak will announce his list of Cabinet ministers and deputies at 3pm Thursday. Who gets the boot and who comes in is his prerogative rights upon the list submitted to him by leaders of BN component parties.
We should by now have listened to variety of versions - that Rais, Syed Hamid, Azalina and a few more will be dropped while Mukhriz and Razali will get full minister posts, that Najib will not give anything to Pemuda chief Khairy Jamaludin, etc... etc... etc.
What about this - Khazanah's Azman Mokhtar and Amirsham were also tipped to take over the finance portfolio. I dont want to imagine this.
However, I will be happy to see Mukhriz appointed member of Najib's Cabinet. The indications were so strong that he will be at Sports and Youth.
Nevertheless, what about KJ? My bloggers friends - including the hardliners and 'anti-KJ' agreed that the young man should be given the Foreign Minister portfolio or at least a deputy minister position as his background points more to it.
I believe Najib is a wise leader. Better give the opportunity to both of them or none at all. Otherwise, Umno will be shaken up again... believe me.
As Rockybru said it here, Najib did not consult any good bloggers like him or others who are much closer to many domestic issues than any other leaders are.
My view is that, it is time for Najib to appoint a panel of at least 5 leading bloggers to assist him with his new administration, like what South Korea, the US, Italy, Spain and some other countries are doing.
We must admit the facts that some bloggers can team-up better in running the administration and are more knowledgeable than most of the Cabinet members...
