Datuk Dr Zambry is now the MB of Perak. We should congrat him. The party leadership has chosen him. What happened to Tajol Rosli? Better not comment.
I just wanna say how dissappointed I am with the turn of events in the state. More saddening is the fact the BN had to accept the three Malay legislators from Pakatan Rakyat (one of whom was a frog for 11 days while the other two were said to be facing legal suit for their 'immorality').
Is that what's Umno is all about now?
I remember former Minister at PM office Zaid Ibrahim who suggested for the Parliament to really look into the Anti-Hopping Bill. It received much support from the BN lawmakers.
And, do you remember sometimes mid-last year when Pak Lah chided Anwar for trying to woo BN members of Parliament to crossover to PR to enable him to form a new federal government? Pak Lah didnt like the idea. Instead, he lambasted those wanting to defect, describing such a move as unethical and immoral.
What happened in the past few days? Although we cannot confirm as to whether some money was involved in the 'transfers' of the 4 state legislators, what was the 'insentives' behind it? Can we blame the rakyat for making a conclusion that the duo in trouble will have their cases burried without trial?
Tun Dr Mahathir was right by saying that Umno should accept those of high value and morale. Where is the morale in this story?
Our domestic politics has been turned into a football arena. Players can opt to join other clubs if the offer is good. The price tag varies. Perhaps in the near future, the tote will be much higher if the player manages to mobilised himself/herself from one club to the other.
Interesting, isnt it?
Well, just let Dr Zambry lead Perak. What happens next, only God knows. Sooner or later, our Parliament and State Assemblies will become casinos....
