No more racial politics, please!

MCA president Ong Tee Keat has called on all Malaysians to put a halt to racial politics. Saying that the orthodox way to rally supporters behind political ideology by subscribing to racial sentiments, was destroying the nation.

A wise advise from a young Chinese-dominant party leader. In fact, Umno and other party leaders should share this view, that bipartisan and ethnic politics are no more in favor of national unity and development.

Of course, no Malaysian should be allowed to test and question each other's integrity, neither should they take to the streets to champion the interest of JUST one race. For as long as we adhere to the facts that all Malaysians share equal rights to live, do business, study and work together (without having to challenge the Constitution), then we will be just fine.

Let us admit that a slight 'social error' will take the country to rumble. Past experience should be made as barimeters to all politicians in carrying out their duties for the multi-racial citizens.

Do I have to say more? Lets live on simple minds...

LET EVERY LEADER COMES TO THE SENSES. IF MCA CAN MAKE SUCH CALLS, WHY CANT UMNO, MIC AND OTHERS?

THIS CONTRY NEEDS TO BE MANAGED IN A DELICATE MANNER. WE DONT WANT IT TO FALL INTO THE HANDS OF RACIST AND EXTREMIST

TEE KIAT WAS RIGHT. POLITICS OF RACISM AND ONE RACE SHOULD BE LONG GONE

we dont need people like him to say that.

we dont produce chinese leaders like liong sik and kim sai anymore. this two were best at managing MCA during their times.

what made them special was that, their words gained respect and recognition, unlike the present MCA leaders.

PRESIDEN MCA MEMANG WAJAR MENGINGATKAN SEMUA RAKYAT MALAYSIA MENGENAI PENTINGNYA POLITIK SATU BANGSA DALAM KEADAAN DI MANA PERASAAN SALING MENGHORMATI DAN SALING MEMPERCAYAI SUDAH KIAN MENIPIS DI NEGARA INI.

KITA HARUS MENERIMA TEGURAN INI DENGAN BAIK. UMNO JUGA PERLU LEBIH PEKA TERHADAP SENSIVITI KAUM LAIN YANG JUGA ADALAH WARGANEGARA MALAYSIA.

the nation should observe harmony if our leaders stop bashing up each other's abou race, religion and ethnic.

i agree with MCA president and u for having such a simple yet 'harmonising' idea to keep the country out of racial troubles.

if we dont stop now, malaysia may end up like other nations where racial riots, political murders and all sorts of troubles are rampant.

unless if we want to join them, then dont stop la

If Mr Ong beieves that then he will be willing to stand in Kuala berang Trengganu, Anuar berahim in Bukit Bintang, KL, Lim Kit Siang in Pekan Pahang, (and Obama in Seattle instead of black majority Chicago).

If these politician do not dare to do that, then don't talk, lah.

Then I would be a believer that there is no racial politics.

Polits is absolutely about race, be it in Africa, America, Canada, Australia and elsewhere!
