KJ should be OK... by himself

I met KJ in Rembau yesterday. Although not the first time (we usually shake hands at the Parliament), it was when it comes to meeting him at his constituency.

Regardless of what others may think of this young and vibrant Member of Parliament, I see him as a hardworking 'wakil rakyat'.

Prior to that 5-minute meeting, I observed how he gave out donations and contributions to about 100 needfuls from his constituency. The smile never eluded his face.

A simple guy, said one of my friends. "He's a good Parliamentarian. A lot of people dont like him because he's the son-in-law of the Prime Minister. Being in that position, many thought he holds the key to all government contracts.

"They are wrong. What if he is not the son-in-law of the Prime Minister? Would you believe if a President's driver, too, can sign on behalf of him? That's absurd!"

I dont know although it makes sense. I have been following KJ's political development since 2004. There wasnt any tangible evidence being produced so far about any of his wrongdoings, as some parties claimed.

Nonetheless, I agreed with my friend that KJ can make a good politician. He already makes it a point to come back to Rembau on every Friday.

Watching his schedules yesterday stunned me. This young man has got a good future if he manages it well.

Lu mimpi kah brother? Lu punya mimpi macam gua punya nightmare!

KH can be good if he start being himself! For all the bad image he and his buddies have created for Pak Lah, KJ has to do lots more before he can be seen genuine.

Didn't he call you fellas (bloggers) monkeys at one time? Or maybe you were not yet a blogger then? Or you got business from him!!

bro,

a lot of people are just envious of him. that explains why they dont like his guts and talent.

as far as malaysian politics is concerned, i personally believe he will make a great politician one day, provided that he does that on his personal ticket, not pak lah or anybody else.

bro, are you falling for his 'nice way' of doing things?

yes, i admit that he is a good politician but he depends too much on pak lah

KJ is a fine young leader. given the right time, he can be at the pinnacle of his politics.

the only thing that matters is public opinion on him. he should try to ovecome this by becoming a better person and not relying on others to do it.

its a good start for him, alrite.

dr sam,

some young politicians will make it, some may take a fall after just 1 term in office.

let's see...

bujai said...

linda,

falling for him? u must be kidding.

i actually like to see more young, talented and wise politicians to emerge in our country... rather than having some seniors who still wanna cling on to their position without considering as to when to quit

fenin,

tu bukan puji. tu apa yang gua nampak.

puji dia pun bukan nak dapat apa. gua cuma suka tgk anak muda maju macam dia.

apa orang lain kata mengenai dia, kita tak boleh pedulik sebab tak pernah ada bukti.

tak baik tuduh2 orang kalau tak ada asas.

apa la lu!

SUDAH LA KORANG NI! KJ memang orang muda tetapi belum dapat buktikan apa2 kejayaan lagi. memang orang muda macam dia mampu capai lebih jauh tapi kita tengok la dulu. kalau dia ok, dia ok. kalau tak ok, siaplah dia, kita belasah. so, apa nak heran sangat pasal mamat sekor ni.... kan?

bujai,
on which are you, actually?

bujai said...

deanna,

i dont take side. i pen my opinion from what i see, i hear, i think and based on some other factors.

obviously, i dont say you are wrong when what you do is right, vise-versa.

and i dont catapult at anything without strong reason.

i used to take side, one after the other but they always brought me down...

so, i better stay neutral

bro bujai. i agree with you that KJ can stand on his own. even if paklah is no more there, he will be better. all this connection as a son-in-law has put him in disrepute. he got charisma and the right package to advance further in politicis. of course he cannot disassociate himself from paklah now but that's the fact malaysians have to take. even if he's not married to a PM's daughter, he can still stand on his own merit

bujai said...

kacak,
all that scrupulous remarks about KJ didnt affect him. unless someone comes up with proofs, then it will be a different kind of story. just like anwar's case, the proof has yet to be established. that goes for najib too. until the truth prevails, lets stick to our work...

sdr bujai,

KJ is an idiot if he thinks he can advance in politics by riding his father-in-law.

unless he can proof his own values can drive him there, i will be the first to salute him

nas,
setiap manusia buat silap. semoga KJ ada membaca...

If I got several millions of easy money, I'll be throwing money, not just to 100 needfuls but to all needfuls. And my smile would never elude me too.

If he's not the son-in-law of the PM, reckon he'll be a member of parliament this soon? Reckon he'll be anybody at all? Maybe he's good. Or just cunning. The fact that he's the son-in-law hastened his progress.

I dunno. Like you said, time will tell.
